OUR FAMILY FARM
IS in the SIXTH Generation. The late June and Esther Oehler were the last owners. Now operated by Donnie &
Susie Oehler Family. The Farm still has beef cows and calves, chickens and ducks, turkeys, guineas, mallard ducks, peacocks,
canadian geese and goats. We are also the destination for your next event. Whether it is a
wedding, reception, family or class reunnion, trade show, business seminar, business lunch, church gathering, birthday party,
company party or just a party on a farm setting, OEHLER'S MALLARD CREEK BBQ BARN has everything you need to make it
a spectacular event. There are several venues we offer of different sizes and features. A
LOG BUILDING, CALLED THE HAY LOFT WEDDING CHAPEL, is decorated and ready to use as is. It over looks a
lake. Also, downstairs in the basement of the Hay Loft, is a large cedar panel room, set up with tables and chairs
available for smaller parties such as small wedding reception of 75 and under. No alcohol allowed in chapel
upstairs or downstairs. The Chapel itself will seat 110 plus. There is a 10% Gratutity on Weddings
and Wedding Receptions. Call for full pricing on chapel. You can rehearse in Chapel for two hours. We have a DJ
who can play the wedding march and/or other songs for you in the chapel and of course for your reception downstairs or your
reception in the Barn. He is our house DJ and has been with us for years. We
serve Mecklenburg County and all surrounding counties as well as North Carolina and South Carolina. Consider coming
and getting married with us! The Barn, our main building , used for most functions,
can handle from 100 persons to 2800. EVERY BUILDING IS HEATED AND AIR CONDITIONED. We specialize in Hicikory Cooked BBQ Pork and Chicken. Please explore our other tabs on this
